Dawid Murawa

Dawid Murawa is the head of Surgical Oncology Center and General Surgery at the University Hospital in Zielona Gora, Poland. He is a specialist in general and surgical oncology. Furthermore, he is also a fellow of the European Society of Surgical Oncology and Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft and holds a postgraduate academic degree (PhD). Between 2020-2022 he was the president of the Polish Society of Surgical Oncology. Intensive clinical research on implant reconstruction breast surgery was led by Dr. Murawa. He has also been engaged in the optimal treatment of the axilla after sentinel lymph node biopsy, cosmetic and functional results of the breast reconstructions, techniques for the objective visualization of the blood supply in the different parts of breast surgery. Beside breast surgery, there has been active work with different projects in upper GI Surgery. He is a lecturer and trainer for undergraduates, residents and trainees in oncological and general surgery and fellows in breast surgery and biopsy systems. He is the author of nearly 140 scientific papers.
